NYCHEA Membership
NYCHEA welcomes homeschooling families from the New York City area. Membership dues are $36/year. Our membership year runs from September-August, but new members may join anytime during the year.

Member benefits include the opportunity to attend free member meetings throughout the academic year, subscription to our monthly newsletter, access to our member-only email lists, access to information about classes and activites that members organize, general homeschooling support from fellow members, opportunity to meet and network with homeschoolers in the New York area.

Please Read This Before Downloading Registration Form:

You are required to join our Yahoo group NYCHEA Announcements. In providing your e-mail address, you agree to be added to the NYCHEA Announcements Yahoo group, which allows you to access our newsletter and general announcements.  You also will receive a welcome e-mail from nychea.membership@gmail.comPlease make this address one of your contacts so that emails from us do not go into your SPAM folder, or check your SPAM folder periodically for messages from this email address. You will also receive an invitation to join Chialist, our chat group.  If you don’t receive anything from NYCHEA more than three weeks after mailing your registration form, please e-mail nychea.membership@gmail.com

 If you do not already have a Yahoo ID, you will need to get one. You DO NOT have to use the Yahoo ID as your main e-mail address. You can set up the messages to have them sent to your regular e-mail address. If you don’t already have a Yahoo ID, you may use this link to get one: http://groups.yahoo.com/. Please provide your Yahoo ID on your NYCHEA membership form.

To Join NYCHEA (and to renew membership)
Download the application and fill it out. Mail via USPS REGULAR MAIL to the address on the form, along with a check or money order for $36 made out to: NYCHEA. Please do not mail via any other method than regular mail.
